Inspired by the magnificent 90-foot carpet of flowers placed down the central aisle of Arundel Cathedral (UK), on the eve of Corpus Christi every year, a local church in Perth enlisted the help of local primary schools, church members and volunteer groups to create this wonderful floral display.
Coordinated by Amanda Brown of the All Saints Uniting Church in Floreat, the floral carpet was greatly admired by visitors last weekend, and as a result might even become an annual event - we hope!
The many hours of preparation and construction involved church members, local businesses, school children and other volunteers.
